Avanto experience

Avanto is a Finnish term for a hole cut into a frozen lake or river for winter swimming. The shock of plunging into icy water has been shown to boost circulation and promote healing. Our avanto is located at our beach, and it’s kept open throughout the winter.

There is a small changing room by the avanto, and it is also a short walk to the warmth of the sauna when the spa is open.
