Activities for children

Beach

In summer, the best thing is of course our wonderful child-friendly beach. The sand-bottomed beach continues low far and even smaller children dare to wade safely in the water. There are also sun loungers, a sandbox, swings, a mini golf course and a beach volleyball court on the beach.

From our reception, you can borrow or rent e.g. bats for petanque, bocce, croquet, badminton, tennis and mini golf. We also rent SUP boards and canoes.

You will crown an active day with our ready-made picnic baskets.

In the summer, you can also hop on an exciting cruise aboard the Paddleboat Elias Lönnrot from the hotel pier.

Spa

In addition to the jacuzzi, our spa has a small children’s pool with a slide and a 110-135 cm deep pool, where even slightly older children will certainly enjoy themselves.

Summer activities

Keurusselkä sports park is located near the hotel. In addition to the 18-lane frisbee golf course, there is also a 9-lane family course, which is suitable for players of all ages and those, who is just starting out. You can rent a frisbee golf backpack with discs from our reception.

Forest and lake nature with nature trails invite you to go hiking right from the hotel’s door. Keurusselkä’s own marked nature trail is 1.5 km long and runs through varied, rugged forest terrain, and during the walk you can explore numerous nature boards. In the vicinity of the hotel, there are several log cabins/campfire sites where you can grill log sausages, for example. The easiest way is to grab a ready-made lean-to basket for lunch.

Winter activities

Ski slopes beckon skiers almost from the hotel door. The ice of Keurusselkä lake has smooth ski tracks for even the smallest ski learners. More skilled skiers can head to the nearby sports park’s extensive pistes network, where you can also ski slightly faster hills. And in our hilly terrain, you will certainly find hills to climb even with a stick.

You can also rent ice-skating equipment from our reception and go on an ice-skating excursion. On the loggias, you can warm up in the warmth of the campfire and fry log sausages, for example.

Restaurant

Of course, the youngest members of the family are also taken into account in our restaurant, where you can find our kids menu.

Playroom

The hotel also has a playroom, where you can spend hours playing with the toys.
